Boardwalk Villas: Just wanted to share a few pics :)

We recently stayed in a studio Garden/Pool view from 10/20-10/24. We LOVED Our room...we had the perks of a Boardwalk view, minus the noise, and laying out the extra points...we lucked out! Room # 5059.

We were in 4059, just below yours, from 11/4-14! Just got back! We loved it as well and felt we totally lucked out. They first gave us a second floor pool view; I asked to be higher to be out of the noise and this was what they gave us!!!

Great location!! Woo hoo! I felt majorly pixie disted with this room...we usually face one of the pools, which has always been fine with us....but this room was superb!

My bad...I wrote standard...meant garden. That's the room catergory we were booked in. Garden.

Of course, the first few years I went down to Disney; I swore that my dream vacation would be at GF.

One year I stayed at the Dolphin and discovered the boat from Epcot and DHS and took the loop.

I used to sit every day at the bench in front of the BW area and sit and look over at the GF almost every afternoon when I would return for a nap.

Then one night, I finally turned around and viola - have been falling in love the BWI ever since.

So my new dream when I retire is to stay at the BWI.

I forgot to mention that in this picture I can see the room I had on the Boardwalk Inn side when I stayed there this past August/September.

I was there at the same time!! We were in a studio the 19th-20th then a 1 bedroom the 20th - 23rd. It was my first time staying there and I loved it!!!!!! Holy Moly F & W was crowded.

That is a great view! I can't wait to go back to BWV next month! Plus, I just found out our company is having the holiday party this year at Epcot, while I'm on vacation at BWV! You can't get much better than that! Party in the Odyssey and fireworks from Italy, and a short walk back to my room afterwards. Heaven! Since I'm paying cash, not on points, I'm usually overlooking the pool - but I'm OK with that. I like watching the boats going back and forth to the Studios. But if I ever had a view like that, I don't know if I'd be able to leave the room - I'd just spend all my time on the balcony .

We are looking for a room that isn't too noisy and close to the elevators and the bus stop etc. With kids I need to be as close to things as possible!

You can't be close the elevators AND close the bus stop, because they aren't close together. I would request to be close to the elevators, and have that be your only request. Everything else should fall into place from there. Or you could request a ground floor room, and not have to worry about the elevator.

The bus stop is out by the convention center on the BWI side. There is a side door to the villas on the ground floor that is across the main driveway from the bus stop. It is about half way between the elevators and the far end of the villas closest to the Studios. So if you requested a ground floor room, you could use this door. It's kind of out of the way if you are on any of the upper floors and are using the elevator. Then you might as well walk through the lobby and go to the bus stop from there - it wouldn't really be that much farther.
