Samantha Brown stayed in a 1BR at the Boardwalk. It was almost like being there - she took the camera crew through the villa and then out on the balcony to see the boardwalk itself. If you are wondering if she cooks while she is in a DVC room, her refrigerator only held a partially eaten rice krispie treat and a bottle of wine. :goodvibes

:wizard:
She also took a tour through the new suite at Cinderella's Castle in MK - Wow! I've seen pictures, but she took time to look around the room, sit down - turn on the little field of stars on the bathroom ceiling --- all the fun stuff!

And, of course, she toured the parks at Christmas time - as well as made a special stop over at Fort Wilderness to see the light displays the campers had put up - also, very impressive. I don't know if we could fit a comparable display on the balcony of a DVC room ---- but who knows?
:santa: :santa:

Anyone have any idea when this will be aired again? I would love to see it.

I would love to see this episode too :goodvibes I would love to feel like I am there again at Christmas time. :santa:

I saw it on Friday evening. I loved it when she walked into her 1BR villa at BWV! I enjoyed her interview with the CMs responsible for creating the ice castle, too.

We had just gotten back from Disney when it aired...it made me want to jump right back on that plane:rotfl:

No but really it was such a great special and I thought it was nice she stayed at bW since it was never featured in one of her "great hotel" shows!!!

oops- I guess my tivo was wrong the Samantha show did not come on instead a Christmas light show was on :confused3

It's not just your tivo! My DVR program guide and my Media Center guide both list Samantha Brown at 11pm. Oh well!

I think this is the right one - there are a few show with similar names, since Samantha has visited Disney before - I got this right off the Travel Channel website - hopefully, it will be accurate for everyone. They do have an optional email reminder, if you want to use it. The web page is http://travel.discovery.com/tv-schedules/special.html?paid=26.14466.121959.0.0

We were in Disney when it first aired and watched it when we got back and felt exactly the same as you do!

The BWV/Inn lobby looks beautiful!

The show was amazing. I have never been during the holidays, but after seeing her show I want to book for next year.

:thumbsup2 I saw the show today :goodvibes It was a great show bought back happy memories and showed me things that I actually missed. popcorn:: Samantha Brown did a wonderful job :cool1:

I am going to watch it today at 11. Can't wait!

I saw the show and thoroughly enjoyed it. :)

But as a BWV owner, I couldn't help but wonder how she got that prime Boardwalk view room, LOL. I thought they were all reserved for members paying with points! Do you think she is a member? ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'd have to think that Disney qualifies her room as advertising/marketing - which can be a priority. Who knows how many people will want a villa room now?? And from there that could bring them to DVC.....
:confused3 Who knows? (I bet somewhere inside Disney they have some marketing figures relating to this .... they are, after all, the mavens of people-motivating/crowd efficiency systems)

I thought that Samantha Brown looked out of place and somewhat stiff. I liked the holiday stuff, but not the 'performance' of Samantha Brown.
