Boardwalk Villa - preferred location?

I've never been to BWV. We are getting a 1 BR villa, myself, DH, and 2 DD's, aged 9 & 12. Can we request a specific view, wing or area? Any suggestions? Thanks, Diane.

We didn't really have a good view, but we were very close to the elevator which was great after long days. There are some gorgeous views furthur down toward the tennis courts (i think) where you can see the Swan and Dolphin, but it is a far walk from the elevator. Take a look at the resort map and see where you would like to face and see if you can request that. But remember that you can end up being very far away from the elevator, and I know for us, at night, that walk can seem like its ten times farther than it really is.
and boardwalk, good choice...love it there...any more ?s, just ask!

We usually pay for the water view...which means pool or lagoon view...then we request a boardwalk view.

Do you want to be closer to MGM or Epcot? Do you want to look over Luna Park or the Quiet Pool to the South or the Boardwalk?

water views are usually more than a standard view, I am not sure how much more, but to me it's not worth it, you have to stop and think, how long will you spend gazing out at the view? Is it worth the extra money? To me, the shorter walk to the elevator would be a huge consideration.

Or a shorter walk to the parking lot or tennis courts or pool - again what is the priority....?
