Boardwalk View at BWV

How hard is it to get a boardwalk view in a 2 bedroom? Going weekend of October 5-6. We have a Garden / Pool View. We are waitlisted for a Boardwalk view.

Also, does anyone have a breakdown of the room sizes and types at BWV? I am looking for something like this:

1 Bedroom Standard - 30
1 Bedroom Garden / Pool - 40
1 Bedroom Boardwalk - 15

At this point you will have to be pretty lucky to get a BW view wait list for those dates. October weekends are some of the hardest to get a BW view room because of Food and Wine Festival. Still, you only need 2 nights, so who knows?
Regarding the breakdown of rooms: Shamus is our resident expert. This is quoted from his info:

Total - 97 Dedicated Studios - 130 Dedicated 1Bdrm - 0 Dedicated 2Bdrm - 149 Lockoffs - 7 Grand Villas = 383 Units / 532 Max. Available Rooms

As Jean said, October weekends are difficult. The weekend you are waitlisted for is Columbus Day weekend so I think it could be especially difficult.

BW view is about 20%

Now that we have Shamus's area maps showing all rooms, we can determine that of the 383 BWV rooms (which counts lock-off 2BRs as one), only 11.5% (44) are boardwalk view and 19% (73) are standard view, leaving 69.5% (266) as pool/garden view. And if you consider that 7 of the boardwalk view rooms are GVs which most members are not going to try for, only 9.8% of rooms that are not GVs are boardwalk view.
