If you are staying at boardwalk, what is the quickest way to get to Hollywood Studios?

When we have stayed at the BW, we have walked over to HS (we have always been on the BWV side, so even closer), then at the end of the day, we decide if we want to walk back or take the boat back to the Swan/Dolphin stop and get off there (depending on how tired everyone is and how long the line is for the boats).

walking is fastest. The boat has two additional stops afterward. Although it can be possible to use the Swan/Dolphin stop and walk to or from Boardwalk, but depending on where you are at BW, it might actually be faster just to walk to HS

Go to the DVC side, down to the first floor, and follow the long hallway all the way to the end. The exit door leads to the pathway to Hollywood Studios, you've cut the corner off the walk, and you've stayed inside with air conditioning. It's a pretty easy walk from there.

We always walk. Its a nice walk. The boat if timed correctly can be almost as fast.
The Skyliner will be much slower as you must transfer at Caribbean Beach.

You would have to walk or boat to the Beach Club then walk to International Gateway then take skyliner to CB and get off then load to the DS skyliner so about 30 to 45 mins

Walk up over the bridge to the right of the Boardwalk to the skyliner station - to me it seemed as quick as the boat

Can't imagine the Skyliner is as fast as the boat. A Potential line at the IG then you've got the switch at Caribbean Beach to deal with. And going to HS from Caribbean Beach, there is frequently a line.

Skyliner is a great option
You’d need to walk over to International Gateway area get on line, transfer at Caribbean Beach which likely means another line, then finally arrive at HS. Scenic option to see 7 resorts and 2 parks but also can take anywhere from 40 minutes to over an hour.

I think walking is great option BW to HS, then take the boat back later.

The actual travel time on the Skyliner should only be about 12 minutes. Walking and standing in line will add to that. The boat seems to take about 25 minutes, so it could be faster depending on the crowds.

Skyliner does not go straight from the gateway station to DS you have to go to the CB hub and transfer. Allears has done a few youtube videos on this.

Depending on when you are trying to take the Skyliner, I have seen huge lines at IG (end of day) and at Caribbean Beach (start of the day). Easily 30 minutes waiting time. No way to get from IG to HS without getting off at Caribbean Beach hub.
