Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios Walkway question

We stayed at the BWV last Aug. and the rerouting of the walkway to DHS was like walking on the face of the sun. Zigzagging through the parking lot and walking along the bus drop offs made the walk much less enjoyable. We will be going back in Feb. and were wondering if anything had changed since then. I am assuming not since the skyliner is not open yet. Fortunately the heat won't be as bad. The little extra distance wasn't a big deal, but the heat off all that concrete was horrible. Does anyone know what the walkway path is supposed to be/look like once the construction is all done? It doesn't look like it can go back to where it used to be due to the skyliner building. I am hoping that it isn't still going to be anything close to what it is now. Any info. is appreciated.

We were there the second week of Dec and it was still re-routed around the new bus stops but toward the end of the week it opened up. The path now ends at what I think might be restrooms at the bus stop. you can see a pic of it here on Bioreconstructs twitter. Path is on the right.

We were there beginning 12/16 and there was no zigzagging and the walk was very quick. The only problem we ran into is the day it downpoured for hours. The path was a huge deep muddy puddle in spots. But so were a lot of other areas.
