Boardwalk Standard View Studio

I just bought a small Boardwalk Villas contract. How hard is it to book a standard view studio in Nov or Dec? Thanks.

If you book at the 11 month window the chances are very good. I got a March 16 to March 20 Broadwalk standard studio at the 6 month mark, that was a surprise.

nov (the first part) is the food/wine festavial - so definitely go with 11 months

although I think the week before Thanksgiving is still inbetween Halloween and Christmas stuff - so it might be available later.

Thankgiving week the christmas stuff is all over the place - so again you definitely need the 11 months time.

now BWV is a big resort and it has cancellation on just about a daily basis - so you might get lucky!~

As long as you book 11 months out, you will not have a problem. If you wait much past 11 months out you can often have problems for the highly popular, lower-point-cost standard view at BWV which is only about 20% of the rooms.

If what you are talking about is this year, be aware that we were actually looking into availability for a standard studio in November or ealy December for a relative and we checked on line and found that most days throughout November and first part of December are already fully booked with some openings in last half of Nov (15-19, 23-25).

I booked a SV studio at BWV for next Dec 1st - 5th right at the 11 month mark. When I called back 5 days later to drop two of the nights (rebooked them at BLT with my other contract), and out of curiosity asked if they were still available and was told they were gone.

So, as long as you are calling right at your 11 month mark, you have a good shot!

I've never had any problems booking what we wanted at the 11 month window.

agreed.....we tried booking the 2nd day of our 11 month window, sept 29- 10/11 2012 (for a BW view studio - BW view being about 20%, same as standard view).
about half the days were already gone, as the FWF is on. we wound up
changing plans to include more days prior to oct and not waitlisting.

this has happened repeatedly (we go to the FWF every year), and if we do not book on day 1 of the 11 month window, we almost always need to waitlist (not all WLs have come through).
