Boardwalk resorts for RoR...walking/boating enough, or a lyft?

We will be staying at BWI in June. If we want to get to DHS early (assuming boarding groups are still at a premium) should we just walk over, which is about 20 minutes, or get a lyft? I'm assuming the boats won't be early enough.

We walked over in December. Highly recommend if walking is an option for your group.

Walking, definitely, unless someone in your group isn't mobile enough to do that. Second choice is the boat, although I'd take that only if it were right there at the dock when I got there. Rideshare's a distant third--only if absolutely necessary.

I'd walk, I read a post on reddit someone staying there and used lyft, and just barely made it as it took so much longer for them to finally pick them up.

People have reported the boats leaving YC at 6am on a 7am opening day, but I would walk.

We walked it from Dolphin a couple of weeks ago. We always walk to HS from the Epcot resorts. There were plenty of people doing it too.

Walk, no question. It's the ONLY method where you are 100% in control of when you leave and how long it takes.

It's also a nice, relaxing walk. Not the usual Disney shoulder to shoulder crowd.

Walk. You'll likely be doing about 20,000 steps that day, so what's a few more?
