I was reading where the mugs can be refilled at the bakery, sweet shop or Leaping Horse Libations. What are the hours of these places? Do you have to wait in line or do you have access to the fountains and can refill them yourselves? And, is there anywhere inside the hotel that these can be filled?

Thanks. As you can see, Diet Coke is very important to me!

The bakery opens early....like 6:30 or 7, I think. The sweet shop opens much later at 11. You have to wait in line at both places and the CM gives you your refill in a paper cup that you then pour into your refillable yourself. So much for cutting down on trash! : )

Yes the sweet shop opens late so you have to wait in the Looong line at the Bakery in the am. The good thing is the paper cup holds more than the mug so that somewhat makes up for the long walk and long wait.
One reason we will not stay at the Boardwalk again. The lack of a food court and not being able to easily refil the mug. Hated having to stand in line each time and bother someone for a drink. I believe they had Diet Coke.

This was the only resort I felt the mug was useless. The bakery is always crowded and it's very small. If you have a stroller, I'd leave it outside.

One day we were walking back from Epcot without our mugs and were thirsty so we decided to stop in and see if we could get our "refill" by just showing our key to the world card (since we had DXDDP stamped on it). Since they put the refills in paper cups they just gave us some. not sure if this is standard but it was nice not carrying the mug!

When we were at the Boardwalk a few years ago, i thought there was a place set up on one of the floors where people could get some muffins, coffee and juice? does anyone remember this? i found it at the end of our trip and remember thinking that it was alot more convenient then going to the bakery on the boardwalk....

We took our mugs to BWV during our January stay and they are no longer allowed to touch the mugs. Whether it's at the pool bar or the bakery, you just show them the mug and they give you your drink in a paper cup now. I thought it was a waste, but there must be some reason behind it.
