Boardwalk Preferred View???

I just made reservations for BWV, preferred view and when I went into my DVC on the DVC site the reservation says it's a garden/pool view. Is that right?

Shouldn't it say boardwalk view?

Preferred is either pool/garden or Boardwalk, I thought they usually asked which you wanted??

No, there are three views. First is standard. Second is preferred, pool or garden. Third is specifically a Boardwalk view. Preferred and Boardwalk views are the same points - but not the same view. So if you have a preferred view, its not going to be a Boardwalk view. Sorry!

They won't bother to ask if the Boardwalk view is all booked up, which it often is by the time the seven month window opens. If all that is left are preferred views, they'll often just book it - unless you specifically say "I want room at the Boardwalk, but only if I can get a Boardwalk View."

Since DeeMarch has her home at SSR, I'm guessing there weren't any BW Views available. Given that 205 days out is smack in the middle of Spring Break season, that isn't surprising.

Preferred View Boardwalk is a separate booking category, so you can go ahead and waitlist for it if you'd like.
