Boardwalk Pool Renovations

I have gotten 5 different responses. This includes the Boardwalk manager and staff. Will the main pool be under renovations at all in May.
Can anyone help me w/this? I have 4 children comming at this time, one is disabled and all want the pool more than anything. thank you

Boardwalk Resort

Boardwalk Resort Luna Park (themed pool area) rehab begins January 7, 2008. The pool area will be resurfaced and will reopen February 16th. While it is closed, guests of the Boardwalk may use the Yacht and Beach Club's Stormalong Bay pool. In addition, both non-themed pools at the Boardwalk will remain open.

Thank You for your reply. I know this is a wierd question but, I heard the pool will be open in Feb 2009, not 2008. Does this sound odd?
I cant imagine it takes a whole year to refirbish a pool, Do you?

Indeed the refurbishment didn't even take as long as originally projected. It was open at the end of our January 19 - 23 stay.

It opened right after I left in January. I think it was right around the 19th.

The DVC quiet pool will be closed for parts of late April and May. Yes, that's when I'm there. I love the quiet DVC pool, but will be heading to the main pool. Of course this will make the main pool more crowded then usual, if that's possible. Not sure if the community center will be closed too.
