I hope they replace it with something scarier, like "IT." That should make it easier to book.

I didn't find the clown to be scary during the day, but why did they have to make his eyes glow at night? When you are using the entrance near the gym when coming back from having a few drinks at Jelly Rolls, the clown looked like he was watching you.

I do think clowns are scary, but that one isn’t too bad. I never cared for it because I thought it made the pool look too much like a cheap carnival.... although I suppose that was the idea.

DW was never fond of the clown. She loves BWV and the overall theming, but will only stay in a Standard villa so there's no chance of getting a pool view. I'm looking forward to more stays at BWV now that Pennywise is gone.

My previous CM daughter just showed me photos of the removed and chopped up clown from the Boardwalk pool. I’ll bet it won’t be missed by many people.

I will miss it. It added character to the pool

We wish to report the clown tested positive. Anyone having recently slid through that clown mouth are requested to stay out of the pool for 14 days.

We've never stayed at BWV but have at BCV a couple of times, so we would comment about how much we disliked the scary clown pool and would probably never stay there. Truth be told, I think it's a little sad that it was removed, particularly for the owners who liked it and I actually would consider staying there now that my sons are adults and not as freaked out by it. With Disney though, things never stay exactly the same, so hopefully they'll replace it with something fun and appealing.
