Boardwalk Parking

Yesterday I went to the gas station across from Boardwalk, it was about noon. There was a sign outside the guard station saying "parking for registered Boardwalk guests only". There were signs pointing to the overflow lot across the street for self parking. I don't know how full the lot already was, but at least they are taking a stand to help Boardwalk guests. We went to the Boardwalk on Wednesday night, they told us to park behind the guard station, not in the regular self parking.

We were there a week ago. They only displayed the parking signage at the Boardwalk on the weekend. During the weekdays there wasn't any deterrent and at certain times of the day the parking lot was full. Wish they would be more vigilant 7 days a week.

Good to hear as long as they let DVC members that are allowed to valet park for free at the DVC resorts

We had a problem 1-2 weeks ago and ended up parking in FRONT of the guard house as the lot is in front of the valet lot. We didn't think it was bad till we had to walk it twice. We had problems on more than one occasion that week. This was after school vacation week and we were trying to park at non-peak times so I can imagine what it was like later in the day.

Doing the happy dance! It is so frustrating when other people park there to go to the parks and very frustrating at night when the self-park is full and we don't want to valet park that night.

I was at the MK one night and stood next to a woman from Celebration. She said she always parks at BW and then takes the bus over to the MK to watch the fireworks or just to go to the park. I just think that's wrong.
