Boardwalk Parking?

My family would like to wander around the Boardwalk on our arrival day before resort check in (we’re staying at AKL). It looks like there’s not specific Boardwalk parking (just Boardwalk Inn parking). Any advice on typical parking availability? Would we be better off parking at Hollywood Studios and boating over?

You could try parking at the BW at their lot. If they say no, park at DHS and boat over or skyliner over to Epcot and walk back.

The evenings are better as there’s street entertainers. That may be just on weekends, I’m not sure. Info should be online. There’s a few shops, counter service, sit down, a nice lobby, the ESPN bar, the piano bar (adults only I think) in the evening...it won’t take long to see. But there are several other resorts in the area you can walk around and look at too. Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, and Dolphin. The Fantasia mini golf is accessible by foot past the Swan. If you still have time to kill, you could take the skyliner to Riveria and Art of Animation/Pop Century and check them out too.

If they let you, yes, but I wouldn't. Parking is hard to find at BW if you are staying there as it is. I'd either park at HS and walk/boat or bus or take the bus to HS from AKL and walk/boat or bus to BW. As others have said, not really much to see or do there other than just walk around and do a little shopping.

But unless they are AP, they would have to pay to park at HS. So, they might be better off parking at AKL, busing over to HS and then walking/boating/skyliner over......

There's an overflow lot that I parked at last time i visited because the regular lot was full. It's a short walk to the BW.

They are staying at AKL, so they should be able to park for free at DHS.
