Hi,
DF just called and said they'd like to make the 2 hour drive from the west coast of FL, to visit us while we are in the World. We are so happy to see them, but not sure what to do. I'm thinking of meeting them at the boardwalk? I've personally never been. Do you think we would need PS for next Saturday night? Is it really crowded on the weekend? Any recommended restaurants? I'm thinking the brewery because DH and I enjoy 'good' beers. If it is easy to get tables, it might be nice to stroll around until we see something that interests us. PI/DD is also an idea, but DH and I will be there on Thursday and thought something different might be nice! Thanks so much!

Yes, you will need a PS for Saturday night. Flying Fish is wonderful as is Spoodles. Check out www.wdwig.com for current menus.

I would avoid Big River. The food and the microbrews are marginal. ESPN may offer more of a selection for you.

Good luck.

I have to agree with jordanyosh about the food at Big River though Joe and I did enjoy some of their brews!

ESPN's food is a bit better(Joe loves the hot wings:rolleyes: ) but if you're wanting something really nice try Spoodles or Flying Fish.Or you might wander all the way over to the Beach Club to the Cape May Buffet (ps recommended) which is really good.We like to eat at Cape May then stroll around the lake to the Boardwalk.Tables outside the Big River are our favorite place to have a drink, talk and people watch! :)

Have a wonderful time!!
