Looking to take a quick long weekend trip 3-4 nights just me and 3 teen/ young adults. Would like to stay at the Boardwalk for multiple reasons but ease of access and everyone having the ability to head back to the room independently is top on the list, walking distance to 2 parks is another.

Not sure where to start here. My basic knowledge is that the Inn has hotel rooms, 2 queen beds normal amenities. The Villas have kitchen/kitchenette and more bathroom/space but studio only has a full size pull out?

I am happy to pay whatever price but not sure If I should try to get DVC rental vs book Villa via Disney, or just book the hotel room.

Is the studio that much more spacious than the hotel room? or is the size similar?

I am looking for space for 4 adults to spread out if necessary but having 2 boys age 18/22 they need a decent size bed and comfort is necessary. I don't really need the kitchen.

Are the Villa pull-outs decent quality?

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

The BWV sofa beds are pretty well-used at this point and no refurb is scheduled. So you can expect the same level of comfort that you would have in any frequently used sofa bed.

The single pull-down bed underneath the TV is small...smaller than a bunk bed...and not really meant for a fully grown adult. Some small adults don't have a problem with it but I'm guessing that adult men won't be comfortable on one.

A studio vs inn room are not significantly different in size. A studio is 412 sq ft and a room is ~375. If you don't need/want a kitchenette then I would book an inn room. You will have 2 queen beds plus a couch that folds down to a daybed. Since you have teenage boys (usually a bottomless pit) you may want to consider club level for you group. Its a nice addition to be able to swing by and grab a snack/meal/beverage when you feel like it. We notice a drastic reduction in our food budget when we stay CL.

I would look at the deluxe rooms at the Inn. Larger rooms, BW view, concierge food and drinks and queen size pull out sofa.

It looks like the difference between club level deluxe and water view without club level for 3 nights is about $1000. How much food is offered with Club level? Is is just snacks of meals? I am npot opposed to paying that, just wondering what it is like. and It would be nice if we separate that any of us can go eat at any time.

To add to @KerryCM 's post about the Deluxe rooms on the Inn side sleep up to to 6 in 2 Queen beds and a sleeper sofa in a larger than standard room.

Here is a link to a Youtube review of the Deluxe rooms: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xmVHQgKqRA

Most regular Inn rooms with 2 Queens also have a day bed that sleeps 1 (slightly smaller than the size of a twin bed) so that would be 3 different sleeping surfaces.

Note: there are only 10 Deluxe rooms in the Inn side and they all have a Boardwalk view and will include Club Level services when they return later this year.

The lounge offers a wide variety of breakfast items, salads & light snacks during the day and a light selection of samples from the various dinning options around the BW in the evening. And for adults alcohol beverages and non-alcohol beverages for all guests. In the evening they offer cordials and light deserts.

Are the food options full meal replacements no but they are very handy. The lounge is open at 7 AM and closes at 10 PM. It is not continually open but opens at select times during the day as so depending on your schedule and you are near by the lounge it can be a handy option.

However for a long weekend it might not be a value if you spend all your time in the parks and don't arrive back to your room until late in the evening.

This is exactly what I need to know!! Thank you so much!!

I am thinking club level is def going to be worth it in this situation.
thanks so much!!

You aren't likely to get a short notice rental at a DVC resort. BWV books pretty solid by six months out.
Thanks, I think the INN is a better fit with the club level. It's worth a try at least once.

Yes the deluxe rooms are much larger. We've stayed in them before and you'll have basically a regular room (2 queens) with an adjoining living room (pull out). You could also just look to see if there's a standard club room, it will be cheaper since it's a regular inn room with club level access, no living room. BWI has a GREAT club level. Pre-covid, they had a chef from 5-7 (Redgie) that made 2 hot dishes, like steak and potatoes, scallops and risotto, pasta and meatballs plus a couple of cold salads, warm cheese dip and fresh bread, veggie and cheese trays. For breakfast, always a hot egg dish, homemade oatmeal, pastries, fruit, meats, cheese. On Sundays they were doing an omelet station but I think that switched to a mickey waffle station right before covid hit. Afternoon snacks were meat, veggie and cheese trays, some sort of sandwiches, homemade chips, make your own trail mix and a candy bar (a bar of assorted candies). Throughout the day, nespresso, coffee, teas, juice, milk, sodas, beer, wine, sparkling wine. Then desserts and cordials at night.

Thanks everyone for your replies!
I booked a waterview room at the Inn, club level deluxe was not available.
wondering which rooms have 2 queens and a daybed. Would like to request a boardwalk view and not get stuck with rooms on the center of the resort with a side water view
