Boardwalk Inn Pool - Tell me about it

Has anyone stayed at the Boardwalk Inn who can tell me about the pool? How is the slide? Does the pool get really crowded?

You mean the scarey clown pool?

We stayed there last September and the kids, DS (8) and DD (3) loved it. The pool water was kind of chilly though even though the temps were 90 + everyday.

The slide is made to look like a roller coaster and its 200 feet long. DS loved it and so did DD. She was able to ride it with a life jacket. The pool is not zero depth, it starts at 3 feet I believe, but there is a kiddie pool also.

The pool wasn't too crowded when we were there. Plenty of seats by the pool also.

That was my first thought!!

We stayed at the BWI at the end of August, when crowds are lower and I have never seen a pool that's really crowded so...there were lots of empty chairs and the pool was not crowded. It was just DH and I and we didn't use the slide, but the kids there seemed to really enjoy it. We spent more time at the quiet pool. If I remember right, they were playing loud music around the main pool, or maybe it was just the kids that were really loud!
