Boardwalk Inn help please

Hello all,
I am a long time lurker but only just plucked up the courage to register and post so please be gentle!

My question is as follows, my girlfriend and me are planning our first holiday in WDW next March but she really wants to stay at the Boardwalk Inn onsite. This is fine by me, as long as she is happy so am I . Just been checking the Virgin Website, they dont seem to travel to the Boardwalk, as do neither of the usual suspects ( thomas cook, thomson. etc) Do any of you guys know of any companes that do? Or is it best for me to arrange flights/hotels myself? Sorry to be a pain, and hope this hasn't been asked before!

Any help would be great!

I usually book Virgin holidays fly-drive (often cheaper than Virgin Atlantic flight only) and book my room direct with Disney central reservations. Easy.. one phone call to Virgin, a second to Disney.

If you are an AA member, ask Disney for the AAA member discount which will be about 15% off. (AA and AAA are afiliated motoring organisations).

You can book through the Disney website also, though I have never done this.

We are staying at the Boardwalk Inn next year and I reserve our Disney resort rooms with Dreams Unlimited - as they are able to apply discount codes which can save you lots of money off of the regular rack rates. I then book flights directly with the airline and car hire separately as well. I find this gives us lots of flexibility and it is often cheaper too.

You can also book the Boardwalk using DreamsUnlimited travel agents (associated with the DIS Boards).

They will make your booking with Disney and assign a personal agent for you to handle any questions, requests and book dining reservation. They will also apply any discounts that become available, even after you have booked - all for no extra cost!

There is another way to book the Boardwalk Villas which is much cheaper than booking with any travel company. As you are probably aware BWV is a DVC resort. You can rent points from a DVC member. This can save hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on a 2 week stay.

Of course, it isn't without it's risks. You are paying somenone you have never met a lot of money to book accomodation for you, but if you use a reputable source (ie. someone on the DIS boards that has a long posting record) the risks are minimal.

Some useful (!?) information:
[font=Arial,Helvetica]Windy lives at Colley's Mill, which is just outside Camberwick Green. The railway runs nearby. Windy makes home brew cider, and whittles wood. When going into or out of his windmill he amazingly always manages to miss the sails. Windy is rather old fashioned and very superstitious - he believes in whistling for the wind, and touching a sweeep's collar for luck. He keeps a cow for milk, and free range chickens for eggs. He is referred to as "Mr. Miller" on several occasions.[/font]
