Boardwalk Inn Concierge Questions

Do they offer beer as well as wine at the BWI concierge? Are there any boardwalk views for the concierge standard rooms? Is the concierge floor a private floor? In the lounge, is there a tv and small tables and chairs for children to sit in?

Thanks in advance for your replies. I think I might want to try BWI concierge, but the YC concierge provided all the things I questioned about above. I need some help!

BWI concierge is my favorite place to stay! The do not have beer. The standard rooms are garden view. The deluxe rooms are Boardwalk view. The lounge has a tv but not kid size table and chairs. Concierge is part of the 4th floor. The door in place right now cannot be locked for room key access due to fire regulations. From what I understand the door is being replaced sometime in the Spring.
I have stayed at the YC concierge and find the cast at the BWI much friendlier and willing to help. Their desk is not is a hallway, but right in the lounge. The cast are the best on property, IMHO!!
I will be there in just 46 more days with my friends and then again in Oct. with my husband.

Kerry, Thank you for your reply. I really want to try BWI concierge. I have stayed at the BWI twice and loved the boardwalk view. We can bring our own beer for my husband, that is not a big deal. How do they know that the people using the lounge are the concierge guest since the door does not close? Just wondering?

I need to try new things to keep WDW feeling new to us. It is so easy to get stuck on something. I'm also thinking about possibly splitting the stay with AKL concierge. My kids and husband would probably love the animals. That would definetly be a new experience for us.

Does anyone know what kind of concierge view is better at AKL, savannah or pool? Better to go 2 queens or 1 queen with the bunk beds for my dd 7 and ds 9?

I'm going for 7 nights. What do you think?

We were told by a concierge CM that they don't put out beer but, if you ask a Cm for it they will get you a beer.

Once you meet the cast of the Innkeepers Club you will see how they know if you are a guest or not. They know everyone, by name and room number. It totally amazed me how they all rememberd names. They treat everyone so wonderfully. My son, daughter-in-law ans 11 month old granddaughter came last Oct. with us. Madyson loved the attention. Jacie was speaking with her one evening and got up to go greet some guests coming in and Madyson began to cry. Well, Jackie came right back over to her and began talking to her again. When we go this Oct. Madyson will be almost 2 and I know she will love being there again!
