So I have a vacation booked in a Boardwalk Villa on points. I don’t want to use anymore points and am a Fl resident and qualified for some of the discounts they are offering. If I book a cash stay one night at a villa will they combine my cash stay one night with my DVC stay same view and all?

If they are for the same view and room size, you can have a continuing stay noted on them. This would keep you in the same room, but they will remain as separate reservations.

If you book cash with Disney, you will likely be at Boardwalk INN, which is a totally different part of the building. They can't combine this if they wanted to.

If you are booking DVC inventory using cash, it will be clearly marked. There have been many posts that cash has different view designations from DVC, so it's possible the rooms aren't in the same category even though they appear to be.

This is an important part (last paragraph). I have been specifically told Pool & Garden on the Cash side encompasses some Standard Views on the DVC side. In fact one time I stayed at BWV and my Pool & Garden room was the closest you could get to the parking lot, with the retention pond being the only "Garden" I could see.

I talked to the front desk they apologized and said "Sorry a DVC Pool & Garden shouldn't have been booked there, only for Cash that is considered Pool & Garden" or something to that effect.
