Boardwalk Grand Villa

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this board but not new to DVC. We are going to Disney May 6th, VERY EXCITED we are staying in a 3 bedroom grandvilla we have never stayed in one before at the "Boardwalk".
1. Question are there Grand Villa's that have 2 stories?

2. Can anyone provide me with room numbers?

3. Which one is larger and nicer to stay in?

4. Do they all have Boardwalk view?

There are 12 of us staying there & I really need advice as to what is best!!

Your help is greatly appreciated!!

My understanding is that there is one GV that is two floors at the BWV. There are only a total of seven in whole place and they all have Boardwalk views. I have never stayed in a two floor GV, only the one floor kind.

We were upgraded to a Grand Villa a few years ago. (not DVC)
The room we had was right on the boardwalk, second story under the Boardwalk sign. It was awsome! Sorry - I don't remember the room number.

It was only 1 story - but was actually larger than the house I had at the time. I believe there were 6 balconies overlooking the boardwalk.

There are a total of 7 GV at the BWV all are BW view and are located close together. 2 of the GV's are two story versions and are side-by-side on the 5th and 6th floors under the large BW sign (the yellow section with the pillars. There are two additional one story GVs on the 3rd and 4th floor of that section and span the length of it (6 patio doors). The other 3 GV's are one story units that are stacked on top of each other on the 3-5 floors over the BW store, the section to the left of the BW sign and next to the village green area. There may be a studio inbetween these sections. One of the one story units is HA. People have reported liking the one story units because you loose a little space with the stairway.
