Boardwalk Garden Suites

I will be leaving next month for 2 weeks at WDW. I'm taking my 15-yo niece for her first trip. Because of my asthma I booked a garden suite at BWI. My questions are (having never stayed there), are there some garden suites that are bigger, have better views, how far away from elevators and access to Xsportation. How big are the rooms )I know there is a loft and a second sleeping area in the living room. Basically TELL ME EVERYTHING PLEASE! And thanks.

Hi! We stayed at the BWI Garden Suites Dec. 2002 and we really enjoyed them. You walk out of the hotel by the elevators and you enter a courtyard area with a winding sidewalk. It is very secluded and quiet. The grounds are very pretty and every suite has it's own white picket fence with an entrance gate. If I remember correctly the front door looks like a set of french doors with curtains. That is basically your only view. You can see the fireworks, but you have to walk outside and stand in the right spot to see them. There are no windows in the loft except for a skylight. The suites are a nice size. There is a half bath downstairs, a sink, and a refrigerator. The garden tub is huge! You will definitely enjoy that. As far as privacy goes, I do remember that there was not a door separating the bedroom and the vanity area- which is where the wonderful garden tub is. At night I was always afraid that I would wake my family up if I wanted to get in the jacuzzi bath. (Very Loud) So, I did not get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked!The toilet and shower are in a separate room which does have a door! Other than a leak in the ceiling, which they did come and fix quickly, we had a very nice time and enjoyed our room. It is quite a hike from the lobby, but it is worth it!!! :jester:
