Boardwalk from Pop Century?

We are staying at Pop Century next week and would like to visit the Boardwalk and eat at ESPN our last day, then head back to Pop Cenutry to be picked up by our towncar. What's the best way to do this? Thanks!!!

Quickest but costliest would be a taxi.

On Disney transportation, you could take the bus to MGM, then take the Friendship Boat to Boardwalk--when you get off the bus and are facing the MGM entrance it's off to the right on the far side of the body of water you see on your right. Or you could walk ...the walkway is on the parking lot side of the body of water, it's about 15 minutes. Keep in mind the boats loop BW/Y&BC/SD. Make sure you leave plenty of time for buses and boats to get back for your ride!

Thanks. We planned on using Disney transportation. We don't have to be back til 4 pm to get our towncar. Anybody else got suggestions. I thought I read something about it being a 5 minute walk from Epcot. Is that right?

It is close to EPCOT but only if you are in Epcot. If you do not have a pass that will get you into the park then you can not walk thru it to get to the International Gateway. The gateway is the enterance people staying in the Boardwalk area resorts use to get into Epcot. Its in the World Showcase.
So if you can go into the park from the front side you have to walk thru to the other side to walk to ESPN. It would be easier to go to MGM and less walking.

Yep, take the bus to MGM and follow the walking path to the Boardwalk...about 10 minute walk. If you don't care to take the walk you can ride the friendship boats to the Swan /Dolphin or to Epcot and then walk to the boardwalk, but that will kill some time waiting for boat etc. When you get off the bus at MGM, the path is to your right, along crecent lake. you will be walking along the Beach club, yacht club area. It's a nice walk. You could also rent a watermouse or similar from the dock at the yacht club. We did that and cruised around for a 1/2 hour.

Thanks for the responses. I think we will go the MGM way. Probably just walk instead of waiting for the boats. We have til 4 to get back to POP Century so we will just take our time walking and relaxing before we head back home.
