Its a great show. Shot well, acted well (for the most part). Really entertaining. I have to wonder though...they must've written the role of Jimmy for Leonardo Dicaprio and when they couldn't convince him to join the cast, had to go with some second string Leo look-act-alike. I swear this guy went to the Dicaprio school of acting! I bet he got an A.

I DO have a problem with Steve Buscemi as an object of any woman's desire. And sex scenes?? The man looks like Gollum. But he's a great actor, so I tolerate it.

Nice to see Max Casella still gettin' work...even if he is forever stuck doing mobster roles like his gig on the Sopranos.

I really like Nelson the fed. That guy is messed up!

I really liked the show too, but I was a little disappointed in the finale, maybe I was expecting something big to happen, IDK?

I was going along with Buscemi as the man in charge, not really seeing him as a thing of desire, but understanding that a man of power could be seen as an object of desire this was working out in my mind until we rented Grownups and saw him in it in the waterpark scene from then on it just didn't work for me. Every time I watch Boardwalk I saw him as all the loony characters he'd always played. (con-air, mr.deed ect.)

I do like the show, anxious to see where the story line goes esp now that it seems some of the key people intend to go against Nucky.

I love it!!! I agree on the Michael Pitt/Dicaprio thing. I think he's great. Actualy, everyone on the show is a great actor I really like the guy who plays the war victim(can't remember his name..guy with 1/2 a face) The sex scenes with Buscemi are a bit but I get it. Men with money and power always get beautiful women!

I totally agree, but the sex scenes with the first girlfriend ( I can't remember her name but the one who ended up with FBI agent Nelson) and her incessant talking ( oh, daddy) really really annoys me.

I feel SOOOOOOO old when I watch it! lol Wasn't just yesterday Buscemi he was in Reservoir Dogs? His aging makes me feel old.

I loved it too. Buscemi is a very interesting looking man. His eyes are amazing. But he is too thin for my liking. I can understand why women would fall for his character because of that power thing going on. I do love his acting! Can't wait for next season.

I love the show. I agree, SB looks so out of place as a lover. The real Nucky T was 6' and abt. 250lbs. I saw it on google. I may be off a ' and a lb.
