Boardwalk Club view - I need advice

We are hoping to reserve a BWI club room with a view of the boardwalk below. What is the difference between the deluxe and regular CLUB level rooms? Is it true that only the deluxe rooms guarantee a view of the boardwalk below?

Are there other differences between the club level rooms?

Until very recently the answer to your question would be yes the deluxe rooms are the only way to be sure of a boardwalk view. However that has changed and now you have a choice between purchasing a boardwalk view or a standard view. The cost is a bit tough to swallow though as the boardwalk view standard room is about a $100 per night more than the standard room garden view. Availability is tough as well since there are only 7 boardwalk view standard rooms and 10 of the deluxe rooms. Deluxe rooms are split between the third and fourth floor with 5 on each floor, with the lounge being located on the fourth floor.

The Deluxe rooms have an extra sitting area with a pullout queen sofa bed and two televisions in the room. Deluxe rooms also have a full size balcony. I've been hearing that they are adding fourth floor rooms that are outside of the secure door to the club level so there may be more boardwalk view rooms than in the past but I'm not sure of this. The BWI CL is our favorite resort and I hope you enjoy it as well.
