Ok, so we had to change our BeachClub in May to Boardwalk....Pros and Cons of Boardwalk anyone?

thanks

We've stayed at both BCV and BWV. I liked them both. It seemed like there was less walking from BWV to get the cups refilled, grab a quick breakfast and short walk to DHS. I liked the lazy river pool at BCV but the pool at BWV was less crowded. My DH likes that it's closer to the ESPN club. I would stay at either one again.

Which view did you reserve?

She said it was the pool/garden view......I was lucky to get that, we had to cancel the prior week at BC, and they were full this week.....

We had a great view from our room, but it got quite loud at night. Lots of noise from the nearby club and folks walking and shouting on the boardwalk below. That was the only "con" of our stay.

You will be facing one of the pools or the canal (near Jellyrolls). If you are looking for a more quiet area, I would request quiet pool view, top floor.

I love watching the activities out on the boardwalk at night.

let's see: the most amazing resort, with nightlife (for the entire family), great pools (which unlike SAB, are not wall-to-wall people:crowded: ), incredible views, elegant without being stuffy (& we find BWVs notably quieter than BC/BCVs)........

we (DH, self, our kids, my DB, DSIL, nephews, my parents ~ with multiple vacas at the BCVs) consider it no contest: the BWVs are our hands down favorite:cloud9:
(btw, we own at both)

hth:)

We stayed at BWV for one night before our cruise in September. We were upgraded to a boardwalk view - and oh what a treat! Our group had a meet at BCV, so we went over there for the meet and dinner at Cape May. It was nice, but what we really liked about BWV was we felt like we were at a resort away from the others. At SSR we feel disconnected but love the views of DTD. But at BWV, we packed so much into that one night! It was fabulous - lots to do and an atmosphere we found very enjoyable. We did not have a moise problem even with the boardwalk view. One thing we did notice though - the hallways seemed like a never-ending maze. If we had longer to stay, I am sure we'd have found our way around better. The pool was great too! We can't wait to go back there.
