i am going on thursday i am staying at the boardwalk just wondering if anyone rode the busses lately

We stayed there in late June. Buses were VERY crowded! Hopefully, crowds are down a bit now with school children returning.

We were there the first week of August...it had been 5 or 6 years since we stayed at BW and I could not believe how rotten the bus service was....yuck...only 3 bus routes come by there....1 to MK, 1 to Typhoon Lagoon and DTD and 1 to Blizzard Beach and AK. (boat service to MGM and EPCOT seemed fine.

We did not go to MK...but every bus we saw (all 3 routes) all week was packed....we never got a seat on any bus we boarded. BW is the 5th stop on all 3 routes (Swan Dolphin, YC, BC then BW)....often it seems the busses were full before they even got to BW and would go straight to the parks, by passing the stop....which means people were waiting a REALLY long time for some buses (especially to the parks in the AM), other times a bus would come by already packed and they would let 5 or 6 people on, leaving 20+ people still waiting.

On the way back to the resort we usually got a seat, but you had to make 4 other stops before getting to BW...my advice would be drive to the parks if you have a car.

We chatted for 30 minutes or so 1 afternoon with a couple waiting with us for the bus to DTD....they stay at the BW often and said that that week had been worse than usual for some reason. But they agreed that the bus service was worse for BW than most of the other resorts.

The Crowds are getting rather light now that most kids are in school, also there is No Buses to Epcot or Mgm as you must use the Boat to reach those parks.

Must depend on the time of year, but whenever we are there the bus hasn't been too crowded and always prompt. The only time we had to stand was after Wishes and MNSSHP at MK. Also in May the BWV bus only stopped at Swan and Dolphin. The BC and YC route had their own separate bus.

When we were at the Boardwalk in June we also shared only with the Swan and Dolphin. The Yacht and Beach clubs had their own bus. I don't understand one of the poster's comments about "ONLY" three bus routes. Why would there be any more? You only need buses from the Epcot resorts to the MK, AK, DTD and the water parks. From any of the Epcot resorts Epcot is a 5-10 minute walk and the Studios about 10-15 minutes. You also have the option of taking the Friendship boats that run all day between Epcot and the Studios. I can't imagine what other buses anyone would need or want at these resorts. One of the reasons we love staying in the Epcot resort area is that you don't need the buses much.
I agree that if they have gone back to all five resorts sharing the bus routes that is far too many. Only DTD was shared by all back in June.

We just returned from a stay at the BWV last week. The bus service wasn’t the best I have had, but wasn’t that bad either. You do share with Swan, Dolphin and sometimes Yacht and Beach Club. Never had to stand during our 7-day stay. One thing I did notice on all buses was that they didn’t seem to be as Air Conditioned as in the past. May have been the record breaking heat, but did miss getting on the bus and feeling the A/C on full blast.
