Hi all! Does anyone know if the Boardwalk has a place to buy quick breakfast supplies like milk and cereal, or a danish. Specifically, I am looking for something to eat in our room. We are on the Dining plan and from what I read counter service breakfasts are non-existent in the resort. My thinking is to eat "in" for breakfast, use the counter service for lunch and table service for dinner.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, there is a store right on the Boardwalk, but I forget the name of it. Lots of basic supplies there.

Hope this helps.

Hi rainman1962, and welcome to the DIS Boards!

In addition to the Screen Door General Store on the Boardwalk (cute name, huh?) there's also the Boardwalk Bakery - yum!

Hi rainman62,

Welcome! If you are staying at the BWI, the Bellevue Lounge (next to the lobby) has a very nice continental breakfast. And as Kaycee said, the Bakery is excellent - still can taste those crumb buns. I think they supply the Bellevue Lounge also. Have a great trip!!

YUUUMMMMYYYY!!!!!!!! I want one of those giant cupcakes RIGHT NOW!!! :bounce:

We have stayed at BWI twice and almost always ate in our room. DH would take our order down to the Bellvue or Bakery and bring it back. We always did juice, muffins or bagels, sometimes fruit or yogurt so it was easy for him to bring back. If we were all ready at the same time ( not often) we would eat at the little tables on the BW. If you have a more relaxing morning, try Spoodles for breakfast, it is really good.

We stayed in August and got a quick breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery every day. I thought the Bellevue lounge offerings were a little sparse, and the bakery was so close. You can also buy milk and cereal at the general store and keep the milk in your room fridge.
Have fun, we loved the Boardwalk!

We usually pick up some supplies at the Screendoor, as well. Last time we bought creamer, sugar and more bottled water.
In fact, this is one of the least expensive places on property to buy a can of beer! :goodvibes

Boardwalk bakery or Bellevue! I also agree with the poster who said Spoodles for breakfast is really good. You can get in and out pretty quickly too.
