Boardwalk area restaurants

Which of these are good for kids? I checked AllEARSNet, but none of the menus have kids' meals listed. We're staying at PC, is it worth the effort to get to the Boardwalk, or should we stick with DTD@? My son would love the ESPN club atmosphere. Do you make a PS through Disney or a reservation with the restaurant directly

Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club (not at the BW, but walkable) or Spoodles would be very good choices with kids. I haven't been to Beaches, but took a four and five year old to Spoodles.

If you go to the BW besure it is in the evening. That is when all the fun takes place, pretty dead during the day.

ESPN is good for kids, mine really enjoyed it. I hope to try both B&C and Spoodles this trip.

We really like ESPN & Beaches and Cream. The kids do too. Well they love ESPN, but were half asleep during our first visit to B&C so I dont think they have an opinion on that one yet.
ESPN does have a childs menu, with all the typical stuff mac & cheese, grilled cheese, hot dog, etc...
Neither take PSs. We were able to walk into ESPN twice for lunch over Christmas week, and we had a 1 hour wait for B&C on a Saturday night(well worth it though)

We took our boys (2 & 4 yo) to Spoodles and it was just fine. We ordered a mozzarella & tomato flat bread appetizer which my 2 yo loved. My 4 yo ate chicken fingers and was satisfied. We really loved the food here and our waitress was outstanding.

ESPN does not take any type of PS or reservation. It is quite suitable for kids. I second the vote for Spoodles - we also had good food and great service. I believe you can make PS for Spoodles, but we were seated in 10 minutes without one. You could also go to Cape May buffet at the Beach club.

Although I would be the last guy on the planet to recommend a sports bar, I must say that we had a nice lunch at the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk.
