Boardwalk area - best brkfst?

THE BAKERY!!!!! Really though anywhere is good, I think. Spoodles has a good breakfast but a little expensive.

For something quick, try the Boardwalk Bakery. For a sit down meal, hop the boat across to Beach Club and enjoy the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe.

I'm going down in Oct, with dd and a mom and her dd..planning on eating at Spoodles a lot. I ate there in Dec and loved it. I did get some pastries at the Bakery. They were very good but I like a more hearty breakfast.

My DD and I had some awesome waffles on our last morning at Spoodles on the Boardwalk...Very good and the prices were not too bad for Breakfast!

I plan on eating there again on our trip this up coming May! :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Fresh in the Dolphin is excellent if you like fresh sqeezed fruit and vegetable juice and many other health conscious choices. They also have standard fare such as eggs and french toast. Everything is made to order.

i agree with 1000th happy haunt if you could hop on the boat and go over to the beach club, Cape May's is your best option. My DH2B and me went there in Dec 2005 and loved it. the character breakfast was yummy and fun. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo :goofy: :donald: :tink: pixiedust:

The Yacht Club Galley has a real nice breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet and a menu. Often, some in our party get the buffet while others order off the menu.

We love Spoodles. Eat breakfast there all the time when we stay at the Boardwalk. Everything from great fruit and pancakes to breakfast platters that are delicious.

Is there anywhere along the Boardwalk, or in the hotel where you can grab a quick breakfast, i.e. a bagel, toast, juice, cereal, etc?

Cape May for a character breakfast , Spoodles for non character.

Yes, at the Dolphin. They have Tubbi's, its basically cafeteria style, but very good! They also have Starbucks coffee here and Krispy Kreme donuts. :thumbsup2

you can get this at the BW Bakery, but be prepared to stand in a line out the door and practically to the railing by the water! It's always like that at peak b'fast hours!!!
An alternate is in the BelleVue Room inside the Boardwalk (their lounge). They have pastries, bagels and drinks in the morning. They have a toaster and stuff for you to prepare your food/drink. And I THINK (but I'm not sure if it was BW or BC) that they have a cappucino maker.

I've always liked Spoodles for breakfast.

Plus there is the Swan and Dolphin that are a short walk from the Boardwalk.

Before our trip last June I would have voted for Spoodles for the best breakfast in the boardwalk area. However, for whatever reason, they removed the breakfast pizza from their menu. Their food is still good and it is a nice quiet place to eat. But my DS and I waited two years to get their breakfast pizza and were very disappointed that they removed it.
The Yacht Club Galley has a nice breakfast and is also very quiet.
