Boardwalk and ASMusic 4/4

I've just found out that I'll be staying at the Boardwalk Inn for work 4/4-4/8! I'm so excited because this will be my first trip staying at a deluxe! On 4/8 I will be transferring over to ASM in a preferred for 4/8-4/10 for my 'on my own time'. Does anyone have any photos, tips, requests about these hotels? From what I've read here, luggage transfer is easy to do between two resorts, and that's my biggest concern right now. How's Spoodles? Is it easier to walk to EPCOT and MGM or to take the boat? By walking to EPCOT do I end up near World Showcase? Thanks in advance everyone!

You will love the BoardWalk! I have never eaten at Spoodle so I can't help you there. As far as transportation to EPCOT... walk it. You will get there much faster. You will enter thru the world showcase (even if you take the ferry you will enter that way). With MGM..that is tuff answer. I have walked it when the ferry wasn't at the dock & actullay got there by the time the ferry did. Same as for heading back from the park, but heading back I was tired! If the ferry is there, catch it, if not walk it. There are only 2 ferry's and each one will stop at the BoardWalk, Y&B as well as S&D so it could take 30 minutes to get to the parks. Sometimes (depending on time of day/night) the line for the ferry is long especially when leaving the parks, and you have to wait for the next ferry... then it is most definatly better to walk...
I can't help you with luggage transfers, we have always done our own, just seemed easier to me. You will see going from the BW to the AS that the AS's room is much smaller.

Definitely check out Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk some night. A a dueling piano bar, and it's loads of fun! Doors open at 7:00, pianos start at 8:00.
