On our final day it was torrential down pours, so our friends decided to leave early, to go down south where they were seeing relatives. After some photos, and goodbyes off they went.
We decided to go to DD and shop. The plan was Rainforest cafe. On the way one of the little guys fell asleep. So we opted for Burger King, and Subway. We then went to DD we shopped at BAsin, World of Disney.
I finally got the potato head parts all the disney themed ones what a deal that was. And headed back to the lodge. I had kept my room through the next day. it was worth it to me to pay an extra night to have it all day. As our flight was leaving at 8. We stayed in teh room awhile and watched about Saddams capture and then went up to the lounge. we had some snacks, brought up fries from the Mara and relaxed.
we had the staff check our flight status as another storm was hitting Providence and we were only on a 4 minute delay. In the room AKL had left beanie babies to compensate for the lost blanket. The child had gone, So I will mail them to her.
Off we got to MCO, on the way the twin that did not sleep earlier starts to fall asleep. we keep him awake so he doesn't fuss o the plane. this would prove to be an error in parenting judgement. Don't ever wake a sleeping baby, Trust me you will be sorry.
The skycap now informs me we are now delayed 2 and a half hours. Since we are our onligatory 2 hours early for the flight. we are now waiting with all these kids 5 hours, Not good.
I have to say my kids were so very well behaved the entire trip, No meltdowns no problems. they really were fabulous. I now understand they were saving it all up until they blew at MCO. Folks it was ugly. First he started stripping off his clothes. Apparently naked tantrums are better. When I attempted to stop him. he screamed.... off came the shoes they were whipped across the check in area of SWA. So If you were hit in the face with a flying size 10, Simba sneaker at SWA's ticket counter> I aplogize.... really I do. He ran into security like a bull. Tipped over the carriage. ran away across the terminal. passengers were aghast...Some very vocal about it. to all of them that were so judgmental. Kiss my tukkas Is that how you spell butt in Yiddish???
To say the child lost it would be a severe understatement.
There was no way I could wait 5 hours plus with this demon spawn, no way on gods green earth.....
I firmly believe god makes them cute, so you do not kill them. Trust me noone in MCO thought this kid was one bit cute.
An argument insues with SIl. well why would I rebook my flight, Just suck it up and fly out. EXCUSE ME. Trust me Delswife did not have enough Zannax to make this possible. We would have needed Scruffys stash.
I did not trust myself to point out the obvious, Had i done so, i would have made longshoreman blush. For anyone familar with the Northeast. I am a Revere girl, enough said...
So SIl stormed off. she and her party were not rebooking. Well than see ya....
