Boardwalk 2 story grand villa

We are staying in a BWV grand villa in January with our family. We have seen numerous videos and reviews of the one story grand villas. Has anyone stayed in a 2 story BWV grand villa that could describe the floor plan of the 2 story grand villas? Thanks!

There 5 single stories and 2 two-story GVs at BW. The single-story is the better and you can request a single-story though it is not guaranteed. The differences between the two:

1. After entering the front door of the two-story, to the right is a stairway to the upstairs and that entry area's ceiling is the second floor ceiling.

2. Though similar in design -- both having the living room, dining room, and kitchen as one continuous room creating a great room effect -- the two-story is noticeably smaller than the single-story in that area.

3. The upstairs bedrooms are similar to the single-story, except the first one at the top of the stairs has its own little balcony, overlooking the front entry area to the room. The second bedroom is at the end of the hall. The upstairs bathrooms are about the same as the downstairs bathrooms applicable to the second and thrird bedrooms.

4. A big difference is laundry areas, and for us a main reason the single-story is substantially better than the two-story. The single-story has a large laundry room with w/d and storage space near the master bathroom, which is ideal. The two-story has no laundry room. Instead, a w/d is put in a small closet at the end of the hallway of the second floor right next to the door of the second bedroom on that floor. As a result, those in the master bedroom, who usually do laundry, have to climbed stairs and go to the end of the hallway to use the w/d, which are loud, and thus rendered unusable at night if, as often the case, there are kids sleeping in that second bedroom which is right next to where the w/d is.

We stayed in both the 2 story GV at BWV ( around 2015) and to us it's not a great layout. I think they updated the inside but the layout is most likely the same.
