Boardwalk 1 bedroom Villa or Poly Studio villa

4 friends? 2 couples? Where will you be spending most of your time? Boardwalk has a nice location for walking to both Epcot and Hollywood, but has a mater suite with a king bed and then 1 very uncomfortable pull-out couch in the living room. Poly has a queen bed, queen murphy, and then another small pull-out bed under the tv. I'm not positive on the size of the small pull-out under the bed, felt a little smaller than a twin. I'm 5'8 and could fit, but not something I would want to do if I had a choice.

I prefer the space in a 1-bedroom, but the pull-out couch is a non-starter unless you have a young child, IMHO - it's very uncomfortable. The murphy beds are far more comfortable, but you are giving up a full kitchen and washer/dryer - I would probably still vote for the Poly in this circumstance. If you really want a one-bedroom, I would be looking at villas that offer the new murphy bed in the living room.

It'me, hubby, son(21), GF(19)

BWV 1 bedroom. It will give you much more space and your own TVs. Boardwalk’s atmosphere and location are excellent for adults.

BWV 1 bedroom. My son (19 at the time) complained a little about the comfort of the pullout, but with the extra space, washer / dryer and full kitchen it's no contest. Youth can overcome a lot. It may even be a step up from some college dorms!

Are your son and his GF comfortable sleeping in the same bed? Are they both comfortable with this?

While I completely agree with the space/privacy/awkwardness comments above and how BWV 1BR is better for this, it all assumes they're comfortable sleeping in a bed together.

Poly Studios have three sleeping surfaces: main queen bed, pulldown queen bed, and the pulldown single bed under the TV. BWV 1BR have just two sleeping surfaces: main king bed and pullout sofa bed.

Could be way more awkward (or worse, humiliating) for the GF to get there and realize his parents expect her to sleep in the same bed.

2 studios BWV. Just grabbing a date out of the air 15 points for studio and 29 for a one bedroom. If you could grab a standard view even cheaper

My vote is for 2 studios. DD (22) and DS (18) enjoyed having their own room with separate beds instead of sharing a studio with DH and I at Poly in May. We requested connecting rooms but got adjacent rooms instead And it worked out fine. Poly also has split bathroom, so they could get ready at the same time.
