Hi, I am flying to WDW in 10 days with my daughter and husband. I haven't flown in 10 years so I'm not sure how the boarding passes work now. Are they emailed to you right before your flight? Or do you have to get them at the carriers website? Or do you just get them at the airport on the day of the flight? Also my daughter is only 7, do I need some sort of documents or ID for her? The only thing I have is her social security card and birth certificate. I know these are probably really dumb questions, but a lot has changed since the last time I flew anywhere.

What airline are you flying on?? You should be able to just go to that airline's site, plug in your itinerary number and your boarding passes will crop up. You can print them at home. OR, if you would rather, you can wait until you get to the airport. When you check your bags, you can get boarding passes issued then as well.
You don't need anything in the way of ID for your dd. Those under 18 don't need IDs.

With most airlines you can get your boarding pass from the airline's website by checking in on-line or at the airport (either a kiosk or at a desk). Children are not required to have ID.

you can go on-line to get BP at airline website 24 hours before your flight no sooner:goodvibes

If you ordered online with airline you can checkin and print your boarding passes at home within 24 hours of flight...or checkin at airport, bring your confirmation code and know your flight number and check in at airport, you can even do curbside checkin with luggage if your airport has it, most major do for domestic flights. The children do not need ID, and long as they are your children, no documentation of any sort.

Travel tip, they make you take shoes off at security so flip flops are easy for on and off. Also they have the 3-1-1 rule for liquids for carry on ..you have to take your liquids out of carry luggage, or purse and they should be in 3 oz or less size containers and 1 quart zip lock back and its 1 zip lock bag with your 3 oz bottles in bag. Usually all my liquids are in my checked luggage..I do carry on board eyedrops, etc... have a great trip
