Boarding Groups and Purchasing Individual LL

Hi - is it possible to hold both a boarding group and purchase an individual lightening lane for a ride? Remy comes to mind. Thanks

Yes, people have posted about doing this and it was in an article on DFB too.

Yes, we did that last week. We had ILL scheduled for around 2:30. Our boarding group got called while we were in Biergarten having lunch. By the time we got to Remy we were more than 15 minutes late for our BG, but they let us ride. We did have to wait in line around 20 minutes. It was raining, but the outdoor portion of the line was covered. After we got off the ride we got right back in the lightning lane which was a walk-on. It was fun to do it twice and notice things we missed the first time.

We actually had two people working on it. I got the boarding group and my niece at the other resort did the ILL purchase at 7am.
