Greetings!

This is tres embarrassing    but I don't remember this. If I want to make PS for my trip, do I call MS, or WDW-DINE, or who?

As I've mentioned in the past, DW and I don't take advantage of WDW table-service restaurants - we're counter-service (and off-site) folks - and when we do, we just walk in. However, as it says below, we're going to be there for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, and I don't think DW will appreciate Chicken Strips, Fries and a Diet Soda. [She would find it quite amusing, actually - but I'd hear for years about how I "really know how to show a girl a good time ;)]

So, will someone please answer this, then maybe the thread will fade away....

Thanks!

Goodness! Hurry! You only have 6 days left! You can call MS on Monday but ask for some pixie dust and hope for a cancelation or you may well still be eating turkey legs and diet coke. ;)

Maybe you could super-size it.

Use MS and save the nickel.

No, don't wait until Monday to call MS. Here is a toll free number for dining. 800 828-0228

I believe they open at 7am est. Don't wait another minute, find a nice place to celebrate.

She wouldn't!?????!
I'd dump her. :p

OMG!

Get on that phone and really surprise her and try to get Victoria and Alberts! Tout Suite!

That's the least you can do for the gal for putting up with you for 25 years!
LOL :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

If that is not available, try for JIKO, at AKL.

Third choice would be Le Cellier!

Good Luck!

MEN! Nothing like leaving things to the last minute! :earseek:

With a name like Mr. Tomorrow I would think California Grill would be good during fireworks but I vote for the Castle or Chefs de France (also during fireworks). Maybe we will see you there - we will be there from the 29th to the 5th. I'll look for a guy that looks just like Gene Wilder. ;)

Don't forget a sentimental card,

wine, flowers, jewelry, maybe a family photo framed.

Remember, you need to give your wife bragging rights!

Thanks all for the info - and suggestions. We've already decided on 'Ohana - we've been there for a few other special-ish dinners, and the whole "Family" atmosphere suits us much better than a more formal place. Plus, gourmet food is wasted on us; meat on a skewer works just fine.

Thanks again!

ETA: Our actual anniversary is May 2 - so I've got plenty of time ;).

One more thing - I take it that some of you think I need to do a little more than give her a couple of "20% off one item" coupons from Bed, Bath & Beyond?

Here's hoping you get a better ukelele serenade than the couple we saw get one last week. Some gal I've never seen before played for them and she sounded like a donkey braying. We were cracking up!

What happened to the big guy who used to play there?

I remember him, but didn't see him last December. We just love that place; the waitstaff is usually quite entertaining, and there are always so many things that are amusing - some intentionally, some not.

Well, all set. I talked to a wonderful CM named Jadzia (I kept wanting to make a 'Trill' joke <star trek ref.>). I got us two at 'Ohana on our anniversary night - and made sure they know it's our anniversary. One very nice CM pixie-dust moment; when I told her it was our 25th, she asked for the ressie number and went to add to our general reservation. Of course, it was already on there (hey, I'm no n00bie) but it was thoughtful on her part.

Should be fun - got an early ressie, then off to the MK, which is open 'till 10 that night.

Thanks again!

PS We're also doing the Biergarten the day before - never been, but it sounds like a hoot. Just have to make sure I avoid being "Clark Griswolded". ;)
