Blues Clues Handy Dandy Notebook

I know it is a long shot...anyone have any idea where I can find a handy dandy notebook for a reasonable price? My 3 year old loves this show. I've checked Amazon and ebay and the prices are crazy compared to the original sale price. I know...supply v. demand. I am wishing I had stocked up on them years ago when my first son was a blues clues nut.

I'm going to try to get creative an figure out a way to make one, but if anyone has any ideas where I might find one or if you have seen any out in the stores, please let me know. Thanks!

My 2 1/2 year old was OBSESSED with Blue Clues until about 2 weeks ago when he discovered Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He was even Steve for Halloween!!! Anyway, for over a year now, he has been walking around with his notebook and crayon, at all times. He was content to have to small, spiral bound notebooks with the spirals on the top. You know the little handheld sized ones? We have them all over the place. LOL

Great idea...I had completely forgot about those. Sometimes I guess we make things to complex. I think that might work just fine. I could even personalize them to be "his" handy dandy notebooks!

Our CVS had some of the newer ones a few months ago.

I made a bunch for our sons first birthday party. I used curled up pipe cleaner for the spiral bound part. http://http://www.executivehomemaker.com/2009/07/handy-dandy-notebook/

The above site is even easier than what I did. I just cut out red cardstock and yellow cardstock.

You can easily make it and Ds will love it!
