Blue Zoo?

One of the best, and more expensive, places for dinner at WDW.

Great place to eat, wonderful food, atmosphere and wine list.

It's definitely more of an adult restaurant but we've taken our kids there on every visit. However, they are not quite as young as yours - our oldest was 7 and youngest 5 on our first visit. But they were told the rules and they are used to dining out and they were excellent, and the wait staff was very accomodating to them. You know your kids best - if they are good restaurant diners then they should be fine. The food is excellent.

We've dined there when our girls were 4 and 5 years old, and they were fine. We went over the rules with them ahead of time, and they knew how they were expected to behave, and did just fine. I believe they had crayons to draw with, which kept them entertained during the slower parts of the meal.

It is definitely more of an adult atmosphere, but well behaved children appear to be welcome. Only you can make the decision if its a good fit for your kids.

My 4 yr old would do fine. I'm just not sure w/my 2nd DS. He's only 4 mos now & not sure how he'd be at 1 yr. The only restaurant we felt out of place bringing kids was Citricos at GF. That place was too quiet for kids & the waiter we had wasn't happy we brought our DS.
Have you guys been to Citricos? Would you relate Blue Zoo to that type of atmosphere?

I can't help with a Citricos comparison, still haven't made it over there. Maybe others can chime in.

I have seen kids at bluezoo each time we have eaten there. It just depends on how your kids are with eating out. I will agree that it is more of an "adult" type restaurant, but that doesn't mean that kids don't go there too. They even have a kids menu (pasted below). I LOVE this restaurant - i feel like a bluezoo advocate as I am always preaching how this is the best seafood on property.

I'm surprised you felt out of place at Citrico's. That being said, I think Todd English's bluezoo™ would definitely make you feel out of place with kids if Citrico's did. It's definitely got more of an "adult" appeal to the ambience.

However, they do have a kids' menu, so it's not like they'd shun you for daring to bring your children to Walt Disney World.
