Hi folks,

As you can see from my post count, new to posting (but not to wdw). I tried searching, but to no avail. Anyone know anything about the Blue Tree resort?
I will be staying with my inlaws for a week. Is the place ok, or a nightmare?

thanks!

Hi, first of all it a great location in Lake Buena Vista. You will have short drive to the far east end entrance to Disney. It will come in by all the non
Disney hotels and finally get to Downtown Disney.

Blue Tree is an older time share resort. it will not have all the fancy tile baths and HGTV that the newer one's have, but if the unit has been kept up it will be very nice for your stay. They have been taken over by a new management company and some good changes have been made.

So I would not worry. Location is great...lots of restaurants within a few blocks...and an easy drive to Disney.

Good Luck with the in-laws!!

Ted

It's right down the street from Cypress Point and Cypress Pointe Grandvillas. We've never stayed there, but the resort looks nice when we drive past it. Within walking distances, there is a Winn-Dixie, Liquor Store, Walgreens, Joe's Crab Shack, Giordano's, Steak & Shake, and a few other restaurants. Have a great trip!

We stayed at Cypress Pointe 2 weeks ago but met a lady on the monorail who was staying at Blue tree. She was very happy with it.

Thanks. We will be eating onsite only, & I am familiar with that entrance to WDW...just haven't heard anything (good or bad) about Blue Tree. Thanks again!
