I'm very excited at the changes coming to DCA. I love the Buena Vista entry street, the new hub, trolley cars, the Carthay, etc. -- very nice, classic Disney feel. PERFECT re-do for DCA.
However, I'm still disappointed in the re-theming of the Mulholland Madness... that ride should come out completely in place of something more "Disney". While the new overlay for the swings is nice, I also feel they could do better with this valuable real estate... we can ride this at any Carnival. Same thing with the new Parachute Drop in place of the Maliboomer (although, understandably, there's not much you can do in that space.) The Paradise Pier has never done it for me, and even though the new theming is very nice, the carnival games, etc. are just a waste of space in my opinion.
Cars Land is going to be real nice, but again, aside from the amazing E ticket here... more waste of valuable real estate with D ticket attractions ported over from other parks. Is the Pixar movie "Cars" really that much of a classic that it can sustain it's own Land at a Disney park?
Don't get me wrong... they're doing great things at DCA, I just feel we need more quality, classic Disney attractions. Would have LOVED to see Western River Expedition in DCA... that would have been DCAs 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
