Hi, and welcome to my first ever TR! My name is Kayce, and I am a single mom to one very spoiled rotten princess, Isabella, but she will only answer to Bella. We just returned from a magical vacation at the World. As you can see by my title, though the skies were blue, the sun was out, and we made some magical memories, it was HOT! We sweated for eight days straight! It was also CROWDED! Much more than Id hoped. We still managed to have a great time, though!
We were there from May 2nd-9th and stayed at POR.

Bella and my two nephews, Noah and Jaeden (ages 10 and 8) had never been on an airplane and had never been to Disney, so it was even more special to get to experience it with them for the first time. Also along for the ride were my mom and dad, and my sister, Kellie (not the boys mom). The boys parents had to work and arent interested in Disney, so they decided to sit it out. Which was probably a good thing because we had a lot of different people who wanted to do different things already! I hadnt been to Disney since 1999, so more than 10 years had passed and then I only went to the MK. It had been since 94 that Id had a vacation there! Ive always loved it though and had been dying to go back. MGM was new at the time (ToT was being built) and AK didnt exist, so there was a lot of new stuff and I enjoyed it all! My parents hadnt been since 94, and my sister hadnt been since 97. So we were all pretty out of the loop! I did the research, made the ADRs, and became an addict!!!
I taught myself to sew in November, so MOST of the outfits Bella is wearing in the pictures are handmade by me. The two exceptions are the first day traveling outfit and the last day in the MK outfit, which you will see later! I also made all of her bows.
And now its time to get this party started!
My alarm went off on Sunday, May 2nd, at 4:30. I took a very quick shower, packed some last minute essentials, and woke up Bella. She took the last number, the party 0 off, and found the Fab Five + Daisy underneath!!! (Side note: why is Daisy always left out? Cant they call them the Super Six or something?)
I got her dressed and we were out the door at about 5:00.
My parents live five minutes from me, so we got there and loaded our stuff into their van. My sister that wasnt going and her husband drove the boys and Kellie in their car, my parents drove their van with me and Bella and my brother in law drove it home.
When we got to the airport, the sun was just starting to come up! It only took about 35 minutes. We got our bags checked and made it through security fairly quickly. Then we headed to our gate. We stopped for breakfast, and Bella had a doughnut. Very healthy, I know.
Before I knew it, we were on the plane and ready to go. We did family boarding so we were all able to sit together. As we were sitting there on the runway, my very excited four year old was doing this:
Then she looked out the window and said to me, Mom, we are SO high up.
I looked at her and said, Um, Bella? The plane hasnt even taken off yet. We are still on the ground.
And she said, Oh. Then we both totally cracked up!
She had the window seat and my mom was next to me. My sister and the boys were behind us and my dad was across the aisle.
The plane ride was uneventful and smooth and all three kids did great! It was 2 and a half hours. Bella played with Toy Story figurines, colored, and did an appearing ink Tiana book. The boys read, slept, and played DS. I watched an episode and a half of the first season of Glee!! I love that show!
Pretty soon, we landed in Florida and went to catch the ME. We stopped for a pic with Goofy on the way.
The line for ME was sort of long, but we were on the bus by about 11 a.m. Not too bad!!!

I tried to start writing today but just wasn't feeling it, maybe tomorrow, for sure by the weekend!!
How did you do on the flight? I remember you were nervous about it.

and I had to go back to the very beginning. Love the dresses and bows you made, I have a sewing/quilter/embroidering machine that has Disney patterns on it but I have to fiqure out how to use it.
You just made me SO excited. We are totally going for the Donald group in MK and EPCOT. What a time saver 
I think we are making the right choice by using them as fastpasses. I am sure you were glad to have them seeing that there were so many more people there than you thought!!
