Wonder what the chances are of this starting up again anytime soon...anyone heard any rumors or have any info? We have tickets for August 11 but they’re closed at the moment so I guess that date is not guaranteed

The Florida Department of Health just recommended that gatherings be limited to 50 people or less last night, so I’d say it’s not looking good for a date that soon. Plus they have to figure out how to redo the show due to the interactive elements. They may not be able to make a profit with a lowered capacity either.

Call them once they reopen to to verify they open again August.

It’s more complicated than just reopening from the pandemic. BMG is owned by Cirque De Soleil, which has declared bankruptcy and laid off BMG employees.

Wow, that is sad news indeed. Did not know BMG was part of CdS. BMG is always a highlight of our trips to Universal - sure would hate to miss them next year. I guess all one can do is hope and wait...
