We want to try something different when we go this year. Last time we went to see Cirque du Soleil and loved it :thumbsup2 but have never seen the Blue man group before.
Just looking at it on the internet, I'm not sure if it something we would enjoy or not :confused3

Who's seen this before and what are your thoughts/reviews on the show?

I have seen it twice, both times were slightly different. It is clever, amusing and (at times) gross! Very enjoyable for both kids and audults alike, I would say. My son was 9 when we took him and I would say that's probably the perfect age for kids to be able to get the humour :thumbsup2

I know what you mean, when it was in the West End myself and my boss took a punt to see it as we got some half price tickets, and loved it. I then when back taking my partner and she loved it.

Have seen the West End version 3 times, and seen the new Vegas production just after it opened in the Monte Carlo Resort last Feburary.

It is a very strange show to pigeon hole into what kinda show it is and who it will appeal to. As you will have seen on the Youtube clips, its funny, but also very musical. Its a loud brash piece of Theatre. Clever use of lighting, projection, music, paint and well Marshmallows. Nice audience participation.

If you sometimes like to take a punt on something different. Go for it. Embrace the Blue Men, take them to your heart. There are not that many that Ive spoken to that have seen any of there shows and thought well that was a waste of 90 mins.

You might not like all of what they do. But im sure you will find something in the 90 mins that will wow you.

But thats just my opinion ;-)

Oh, and if you do decide to go...don't be late ;)

:rotfl2:

Same as Joh, we have seen it twice, slightly different shows.
Difficult to say if you will like it. I think its fantastic but you like Cirque and I don't. My Brother didn't enjoy BMG so its not for everyone but I would see it again.

Glad you asked this question, we almost went to see it on our last trip but might make the effort to next time, boys will be 7 and 10 next year so i think they may enjoy it :goodvibes

I also vote yes.

We have seen it in Vegas and Orlando and both of the shows were great. Slightly off the wall but you couldn't help but be impressed.

:thumbsup2

My advice is don't watch too many clips online, my issue was I had over-researched before we booked and I felt like I'd seen all the best bits before which was quite disappointing as the camera angle view was much better than my real life view.
I wouldn't personally go again but that's just me, I know plenty of other people who love it.

We went and found it brilliant and had zero expectations. I'm not really into shows either.(caveat I wasn't a big fan of cirque!).

One warning if you sit on the end of a row be careful...........I got dragged up on stage and ended up part of the show!

Well from the comments, I think we might give it a go :)
