Is it necessary to purchase your tickets for BMG ahead of time? I hesitate because I know they're only good for that show (if I had to cancel our trip for some reason, at least I could use our US/IOA tickets in the future -- but I think I'd be SOL with the BMG tickets).

If it makes a difference, we'd be going either on a Monday or Tuesday the second week of June. Do you think I could decide that day and either get tickets at the resort or box office or do I need to get them ahead of time?

Thanks in advance.

i've seen the show 3 x's.
twice i bought tickets in advance because i wanted upfront and center seats.

last time i bought the day of the show and took what was available which turned out to be center section but half way back.
went solo that trip.

you could check the bmg booking site and see what sections/seats are available.
if sitting in a particular row or section is important, book before the day you go.

i went on saturday nights.
during the weekdays, crowds are much lighter.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like I can make the decision while I'm there and get the tickets the day before. I just didn't want to wind up in a situation where tickets were sold out or only the worst seats were left, but it sounds like I'll be okay.

BMG typically has "day of" sales as well. They are not very well known and kind of limited, but they can really save you some money!!

The sale I took advantage of was the "Student Rush" deal. With any valid college or ISIC ID, you can purchase two tickets for just $34 each!

They also offer same day military discounts, AAA discounts, and AP discounts.

Here is a link to all the special offers: http://www.blueman.com/orlando/special-offers

Also, it never hurts to ask when you get to the box office! If the show is close to starting and they still have seats left, they might offer you a discount. After all, some money is better than no money if a seat is left empty!

My experience in October was it was sold out every night we wanted to go. On a Tuesday there were tickets left for the next night and we waited until the morning to buy and it sold out. Maybe it was because of Halloween Horror Nights (parties splitting up and some doing BMG).

So, if it's something you really want to do, book in advance or ask about availability when you check in.

Two people plan on going in early May. Thoughts on whether it will be sold out?

We are going to US at the same time. We have decided to hold off on tickets for now and see how things are going.
