Hi, I really want to try this restaurant however I am not too sure about the menu. so I was wondering what did you eat here and would you recommend it?
has anybody had the Colonial chicken curry or the grilled beef?

we are not really sea food eaters and would not eat shrimps, lobster etc. though I don't mind prawns.

I would highly recommend the Grilled fillet of beef with Jamaican pepper and potatoes with preserved lemons.:)

Two of our group had the curry DH wasn't overly keen on it, but he tends to go more for the Indian curry dishes, and isn't a fan of coconut which figures quite heavily, in fact I don't know why he chose it.:confused3

For dessert the Sugar Coated Expedition - delicious.:) and their none-alcoholic cocktails are to die for.

My DH has had the curry twice ~ he really enjoyed it. :) I tried a mouthful but the coconut taste was too strong for me. I don't like anything with even a whiff of coconut. ;)

Have you thought of trying the pasta with zucchini and eggplant?

We have always enjoyed our food in here but to be honest it's worth going there just to experience the exotic atmosphere!

Hi, I agree so I think we will give it ago, there is a few options we could try and DD can have the sausage kebab.

It's mainly sea food. We went to Blue Lagoon, looked at the menu and then left :lmao: LMAO!!! It's a BEAUTIFUL looking resturant though! Lovely atmosphere! :goodvibes: It's right where the Pirates of The Caribbean ride is so you will be able to see if still if you decide not to eat there :)

We ate here in December and really liked it, as we all like fish and seafood.

The fillet steak in my DH "Pacific Triology" was a little bit chewy but it all tasted fantastic. I had the Roasted Prawns with Basil, which if you like prawns, was again really nice.

My DD had the "Chef's Surprise" for her dessert which for those of you don't know is a white chocolate jigsaw of Mickey Mouse which comes with a paint brush and three paints so you can colour it in once the jigsaw is together. Then you eat it!!!!!

The atmosphere is great and it seems strange when you leave and go back into daylight. You really do feel as though you have been eating outside on a moon lit night. And even though we were right on the waters edge you soon switched off to the boats from the POTC going passed all the time.

We will definitely be going here again.
