Blue Lagoon vs. Blackbeard Cay

We are going on the 4 night Wonder in January 06. I am undecided between the Blue Lagoon and Blackbeard Cay. I am looking for a nice beach day with my three DS's (5,8,10) and some snorkeling.
The 9:15 meeting time for Blue Lagoon seems very early for someone on West Coast time, and Blackbeard Cay gives me half hour more of sleep.
The boat ride to Blackbeard Cay is 20 min. vs. 40 min. to Blue Lagoon.
I have heard many great things about BLue Lagoon, but have heard NOTHING about Blackbeard Cay.

Went to Blue Lagoon Jan 27th 05. We did the dolphin encounter, had lunch and sat at beach. Around 1:30 it got dark, windy, cloudy and going to storm. We went back to ship on the first boat back. The island is stunning and very paradise looking. We loved the dolphin encounter (4 adults and 5 kids). My too rented a big bike for the water and had fun. It was chilly though and be prepared that in Jan that is the way it will probably be there and at Castaway Cay or the other island you were inquiring about.
