Blue Lagoon Dolphin encounter

Do you have to wear swim shoes on this excursion or can you just wear flip flops? Thanks

On the ferry ride and on the island itself, flip-flops would be fine. I did not find the beach there to be rocky and so water shoes were not needed. During the excursion, I think you will have to be barefoot while on the water platform with the dolphins. There were be too much chance of a flip-flop floating away.

No shoes on the platform with the dolphins-barefoot. Anything comfortable for your ride there and back.

It was great, but be prepared for very chilly water if going now. No wetsuits provided. We just did it 3 weeks ago.

That should be great! It was such a great experience. We stayed on the island until the last ferry. Explore the other beaches on the island. There is one behind the dining area with tide pools that no one seems to go to. You will have to be patient with the food service. It took us 45 minutes to get our food after ordering, but there was only one lady cooking food for the whole island because someone didn’t show up for work that day.
We did the dolphin swim which was absolutely incredible. Worth the money. You can buy pictures afterward that can be emailed to you along with the video.
