Blue Heron resort

We are looking at possibly staying at Blue Heron resort in a two bedroom condo for our upcoming March trip. According to the map it seems to be in an excellent location (0.9 miles from the WDW gate close to DTD, 3 1/2 miles from Sea World, and 7 miles from Universal), plus it faces Lake Bryan so the views appear to be good. Any one stayed there (any reviews--good or bad)?

The location is definitely great . Its right across the 535 from the Sheraton Vistana Resort. Soooo close to DTD, lots of chain dining establishments, mini golf, the Lake Buena Vista and Premium Outlet malls, etc.

We stayed there a few years ago and really loved it. The only downside was the way the pool was positioned it never did warm up. That wasn't an issue for us. They had jet ski rental next door and I sat on our balcony and watched the family jet ski one afternoon! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We'll be in a two bedroom at Blue Heron resort March 21st-31st. It'll be me, my husband, and my mom. We really wanted Bonnet Creek, but apparently BC is fully booked for late March. Blue Heron looks great though. Think we'll enjoy it.

yea I looked at Bonett Creek but for the price at the Blue Heron I couldn't pass it up
