Blue Heron Beach Resort or Vista Cay

ANyone familiar with Blue Heron - I will be there with a 20 and 21 year old. I plan on spending time at US not sure where else. I would like to be able to be close enough to things as we will only have 1 car. I hear Blue Heron has a shuttle service - now sure how often. I would also like the place to be within walking distance to things if possible. They both have things I like about them but would like your opinions on what might work best. Thanks

We stayed at Blue Heron over spring break and really enjoyed it. We didn't use the shuttles, but I did see others sign up for it, so I know they have them.

Its right in front of the Volcano Putt Put. I guess you could walk to a few restaurants if you wanted to, but not to any attractions.

The picture in my signature was taken from our room of my family jet skiing in the lake behind the hotel. They really enjoyed it.

My only complaint was that the pool was very shaded and so you didn't get much sun during the day.

You could see the fireworks from the upper levels at night which was nice!
